Can I Bring a Juul with the Charger and no Pod on the Plane?

Can I take a juul with no pod on an international flight?

I'm 17, I'll only be taking the juul itself with no pod, and I'll bring the charger but won't charge it on the plane. The juul was a gift and means a lot to me, so it is important.

Best Answer:

Carry On Bags: Yes

Checked Bags: No

The FAA prohibits these devices in checked bags. Battery-powered E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, and electronic nicotine delivery systems may only be carried in the aircraft cabin (in carry-on baggage or on your person). Check with your airline for additional restrictions. Remove all electronic cigarette and vaping devices from carry-on bags if checked at the gate or planeside.

What exactly is the JUUL?

Since launching about two years ago, the JUUL has become one of the hottest e-cigarettes on the market. It's been called "the iPhone of e-cigs" and it has gained somewhat of a cult following among young adults.

Electronic cigarettes are battery-powered devices that convert liquid into a vapor, which you inhale. So they can deliver nicotine like a regular cigarette, but without the tobacco, burning, or carcinogen-laden smoke — which is why they are generally thought of as a safer alternative.
